FAQ
Common questions.
Sterling Swan works with private and business aircraft across Colorado, from single-pilot light aircraft to large-cabin business jets. Eligibility for a given service depends on aircraft type, size, condition and access, which is confirmed during the request review.
These categories are used to scope pricing and scheduling. Small aircraft generally includes light single- and twin-engine aircraft and very light jets. Medium jets covers typical midsize and super-midsize business jets. Large jets covers large-cabin and long-range aircraft. If you are unsure which category applies, select "Unsure" on the request form and Sterling Swan will confirm.
Sterling Wash starts at published rates by aircraft size. Sterling Interior and Sterling Complete are quoted per aircraft based on cabin configuration, materials and condition. Final pricing always depends on aircraft model, size, condition, location and requested scope.
Sterling Wash is a methodical exterior appearance service. Depending on the aircraft and scope selected, it may include exterior surface cleaning, leading-edge cleaning, bug removal, exterior window cleaning, exhaust residue removal, belly-area cleaning, landing-gear-area appearance cleaning, and a final exterior inspection.
Yes. Sterling Interior is a refined cabin appearance service covering seating, carpet, leather, cabinetry, trim, galley and lavatory areas, high-touch surfaces and final cabin presentation, scoped to the aircraft and its materials.
Sterling Aircraft Care is a six-month scheduled appearance program built around 12 service credits, roughly one every two weeks, rather than waiting until an aircraft needs a major cleaning. It includes priority scheduling and a maintained aircraft service history.
Aircraft Care is structured as 12 scheduled services across a six-month term, approximately one service every two weeks depending on aircraft location, schedule and availability.
Yes. Flight departments, charter operators, management companies and multi-aircraft owners can request a Fleet proposal. Fleet accounts qualify for a 10% Fleet Rate once the applicable minimum aircraft count is met for that aircraft category.
Fleet pricing applies a 10% rate reduction to Aircraft Care pricing once a fleet qualifies: 5 or more aircraft for Small Aircraft Care, 4 or more jets for Medium Jet Care, or 3 or more jets for Large Jet Care. Fleet discounts are not stacked with other unrelated promotions unless specifically approved.
Sterling Priority is short-notice appearance care for owners, operators and flight departments with changing schedules, covering Priority (same-day/next-day) and After-Hours/On-Call scheduling tiers, subject to technician availability and aircraft access.
Same-day requests can be submitted through Sterling Priority. Same-day and next-day service is never automatically guaranteed — it is confirmed based on technician availability, airport access, aircraft location and requested scope.
After-Hours/On-Call service is available for qualifying requests at a rate premium over standard service, subject to the same availability and access requirements as all Priority scheduling.
Service duration depends on aircraft size, condition and the scope selected. An estimated duration is confirmed with your quote once the aircraft and requested scope are reviewed.
In many cases, yes. Hangar access, power and space requirements are confirmed as part of the request review, along with any hangar or FBO policies that apply.
Scheduling is coordinated around your aircraft’s availability wherever possible, and Aircraft Care customers receive scheduling preference over one-time requests when practical.
Exterior services depend on suitable weather conditions. If weather prevents safe or effective service, Sterling Swan will coordinate rescheduling directly with you.
Sterling Swan’s initial service area is Centennial Airport (KAPA) and the greater Denver, Colorado aviation market, with the ability to expand to additional Colorado airports. Service at any location is subject to applicable airport, FBO and access requirements.
Submit a service request with your aircraft, location and desired scope. Sterling Swan reviews the details and follows up with pricing and availability before anything is scheduled or charged.
